What we believe

1.1 - GOD
We believe that there is only one, eternally existent GOD, the Creator of heaven and earth, who reveals himself to us in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

1.2 - GOD the Father
We believe in God the Father, the source of all fatherhood who, in his tender mercy, turns towards mankind in his desire that all should come to the knowledge of truth. This is why, in his love which surpasses all human understanding, he gave his Son to save a lost world.

1.3 - JESUS CHRIST
We believe in JESUS CHRIST, the incarnate Word of GOD, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, in whom GOD revealed himself to us for our salvation. This is testified to by the Bible - the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments - which were inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the infallible authority for us in our lives, thoughts and actions. JESUS CHRIST obtained salvation for all mankind once and for all through his atoning sacrifice for us on the cross. After his bodily resurrection and ascension to heaven, he now sits at the right hand of GOD the Father making constant intercession on our behalf. We believe that our Lord JESUS CHRIST will return in power and glory. Those who have accepted salvation will rise to eternal glory and those who have rejected it to eternal judgement. GOD invites all human beings and lost sinners - to receive his salvation by accepting his Son JESUS CHRIST through personal repentance and faith.

1.4 - The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who creates new life in us when we are born again through accepting the salvation of JESUS CHRIST. This will reach full completion in the resurrection of the dead. It is the desire of CHRIST, the risen LORD, to empower all believers for service through the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit in those who are born again produces the fruits of the Spirit. In his divine sovereignty, the Holy Spirit distributes various gifts, ministries and workings for the mutual edification of believers and their ministry to the world.

1.5 - The Church
We believe that the church is the congregation of those redeemed from sin and called out by GOD. Through the church his salvation is proclaimed to the world. The church as the Body of Christ is also a place of serving one another. GOD s called all members of the Body of Christ to this ministry and also empowers them for it. Believers are added to the local church through baptism*(*by immersion), which follows the personal confession of sin and faith in JESUS CHRIST. In celebrating communion, the church proclaims the death of the LORD and partakes in his body in expectation of his return. This act embraces an expectation in faith of sanctification, healing and restoration of the whole person.
